Our services are organised around how older buildings actually fail — not around marketing labels. Most heritage and character properties in Sydney and NSW need a clear diagnosis before any repair: moisture path, salt load, mortar compatibility, and what past interventions have already done to the fabric. We start there.

Sandstone and natural stone work covers repair, indenting, consolidation and protection for weathered or salt-affected units — see sandstone & stone restoration. Where the brief is cleaning rather than reconstruction, we select low-impact methods after a trial on the façade.

Brick, mortar and repointing restores failed joints with compatible lime mortars so soft historic brick is protected rather than locked in by hard cement. Where a Victorian or Federation terrace needs the fine lime line finish, tuckpointing is specified as its own craft — not as a synonym for repointing.

Façade programmes sit in two related lanes: façade restoration & repairs for staged crack, render and fabric work, and heritage façade cleaning for controlled removal of soiling on sandstone, brick and render. Commercial and strata work (including experience on Martin Place sandstone cleaning) is scoped with access, staging and documentation in mind.

Salt damp, rising damp and desalination are diagnosis-led. We map moisture and salts, then treat cause and fabric together — poultice desalination and compatible repairs where the load justifies it — rather than coating over symptoms.
