Façade Restoration & Renovation
Restoration and repair for heritage, masonry and older‑building façades — from cleaning and crack repair to staged façade upgrades.

Building façades are often exposed to decades of weathering, pollution and moisture ingress. We provide façade restoration services including masonry repairs, decorative element restoration, plaster and stucco repairs, cleaning, protective treatments and conservation works.
We rely on breathable materials
Core techniques
Core techniques include cleaning with chemical poultices — specialised gels or clays applied to dissolve salts and pollutants without saturating the masonry with water — along with stabilising masonry with lime-based mortars, consolidating stone, replacing severely decayed elements with matching historic materials, and using discreet crack injections.
A multi-disciplinary approach
In order to safeguard the heritage, it is necessary to have a thorough understanding of the materials and the techniques used. This can be achieved only through a multi-disciplinary approach.
Traditional materials & methods
The use of traditional materials and application techniques is one of the basic premises in the restoration of buildings.
As long as no excessive salt and moisture influences are to be expected, the use of traditional materials — including the object-specific recreation of historical formulas — is the primary restoration objective.

Heritage portico & brick façade
Restoration of a grand heritage façade — the sandstone entrance portico and surrounding brickwork worked under scaffold, cleaned and repaired while the building stayed in use.
Sandstone-clad home façade
A contemporary two-storey home faced in sandstone cladding over render — the stone and surfaces cleaned and finished so the façade reads crisp and even across both levels.
Gothic sandstone church façade
Access and conservation works to a Gothic sandstone church façade in the city — the carved tracery, arch and ashlar reached from elevated platforms, with street-level protection in place.
Common questions
Do you work on strata and commercial facades as well as homes?
Yes. We handle residential, strata and commercial facades, including access plans, scaffold or EWP, documentation for head contractors or building managers, and staged works on occupied buildings.
Does a facade usually need to be done all at once?
Often not — facades typically suit staged work rather than a single contract. We sequence repairs so an occupied building stays usable throughout.
What documentation do you provide for access and safety?
We can provide SWMS, JSA and site-induction documentation to head contractors and strata managers, along with public protection and dust control on street-facing work.
