Other Building Work
Tiling, surface finishes and general building renovation — masonry, rendering and waterproofing done to a durable standard suited to the building.

In addition to our specialist heritage restoration services, Stoneline Heritage Restoration undertakes a range of complementary building and renovation works associated with heritage properties, existing buildings and carefully considered renovation projects.
Whether forming part of a larger conservation project or a standalone renovation, every project is approached with the same commitment to quality workmanship, compatible materials and attention to detail.
Heritage & Contemporary Tiling
We undertake the installation, repair and replacement of both heritage and contemporary tiling systems for residential, commercial and heritage buildings.
Where working on historic properties, careful consideration is given to matching existing materials, finishes and detailing to preserve the character of the building while meeting modern performance requirements.
Rendering & Plastering
Traditional renders and plasters play an important role in both the appearance and performance of a building.
We provide rendering and plastering services using materials and techniques appropriate to the building's construction. Where required, breathable lime-based systems can be utilised to maintain compatibility with heritage masonry, while modern rendering systems are available for contemporary applications.
Building Renovation & Repairs
In addition to specialist conservation works, we undertake selected renovation and repair works for existing buildings.
Whether restoring damaged building elements, upgrading internal or external finishes, or carrying out renovation works as part of a broader restoration project, our focus remains on delivering durable, well-considered solutions that complement the character and performance of the building.
A Practical Approach to Renovation
Many restoration projects require more than specialist conservation alone. By combining heritage restoration expertise with practical building experience, we can deliver coordinated solutions that address both the conservation requirements and the everyday functionality of a building.
Every project is undertaken with careful planning, quality workmanship and respect for the existing structure, ensuring new work integrates seamlessly with the original building.
Common questions
What general building and renovation work do you take on?
Beyond the heritage trades we do brick and block repairs, rendering and facade upgrades, waterproofing for wet areas and weather faces, and new or restored tiling and stone finishes.
Is your wet-area waterproofing documented?
Yes. Wet-area waterproofing is carried out and documented to AS 3740 minimum requirements, and we can provide compliance documentation on request.
Can you work as a single trade within a larger renovation?
Yes. We sit inside a wider builder's program for masonry, facade, waterproofing or tiling, or take a single-trade scope direct from the owner. We are a specialist trade, not a head contractor for kitchen and joinery fit-out.
